If you have any concerns about your hearing, our free online hearing check will give you a better idea about whether you need a bit of help from one of our audiologists.
You can do this test as many times as you like to check your hearing, but if you ever need a full check just book an appointment
What will the online hearing check look for?
Once you have your headphones sorted, you’ll listen to a series of tones in each ear. This will show you how well you can hear different frequencies. Based on the results, we’ll let you know if we recommend seeing one of our audiologists, who can help you to hear more clearly.

Get set up
Once you click on the test, we’ll guide you through the set-up. You’ll need headphones so we can check which tones you can hear in each ear. Get comfy somewhere quiet and we’ll walk you through setting the volume levels.

The test will run
The test will play a series of tones at different pitches. All you have to do is indicate when you can hear the tone. Then we’ll send you the results – it’s that simple.

Book an appointment if necessary
If the results indicate you need an extra check, you can come in store for a free, full hearing test and chat with one of our audiologists by booking online
Hearing change
Everyone’s hearing changes over time, so it’s perfectly normal to experience this. Our audiologists can help to restore the sounds you’ve been missing. They’ll only recommend what works best for your hearing profile.
Sometimes they’ll suggest another hearing test at a later date, sometimes wax removal and, only when it would make the most difference, hearing aids. At all times they’ll work with what makes you feel the most comfortable and support you along the way.
FAQs
The most accurate way to test your hearing is for it to be done by an audiologist. However, our online hearing tests can give a good indication of how well you can hear.
There is no set time frame on how often you should check your hearing. If you wear hearing aids, it’s always recommended to have your hearing checked every 18 months to two years. If you don’t wear hearing aids, it's still worth keeping on top of your hearing with a regular test, the same way you have your eyes tested regularly or you see your dentist.
Booking an appointment with one of our audiologists is the best way to see how well you can hear. Our free hearing tests are a quick way for our audiologists to discover what’s going on with your hearing. Once they have a clearer picture, they can chat through any next steps.
